Jason is a storyteller.
 

He's won 3 Daytime Emmys for his work as a writer/producer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He co-created, wrote and produced a kids animated show for HBO Max and Warner Bros called Little Ellen, for which he wrote and produced 20+ original songs.

In 2021, Blackman teamed up with frequent collaborator & composer, Jason Nesmith to form Nesmith/Blackman, a full service songwriting/producing team.

Together, they have decades of songwriting experience with their work having been featured on HBO Max, NBC & more.

Jason has multiple projects in development including an adult animated comedy with Powerhouse Animation &  a feature adaptation of his horror short.
